Laura Prieto is a gift. Sweet, passionate, intelligent, understanding, and quietly hilarious. Very accommodating if you need help or extra time for an assignment. She loves what she teaches and she'll make you love it too.

Comment:

One of the best professors I have ever had. She is always there to help you when you need it. Even if you do not need help with an assignment but just need a shoulder to lean on she is there. Always has a box of tissues for you in her office. She knows her subject really well and I never found her lectures boring. She gives great paper feedback.

This class is mostly all lecture, and sometimes it did get a bit boring, but most of the topics were really interesting and this woman is so intelligent it blows my mind. An unbelievable paper editor too! Put in the effort, she appreciates it, and takes it into account when it's time for grading! She is beyond friendly/helpful too!

Never have I had a professor so thoroughly an expert in her field. Extremely intelligent and she knows how to teach. Give her the effort and she will notice. Also, she was a great paper editor, both in regards to the topic and in terms of mechanics.
