Comment:

I had professor Fink for BUAD 3030:902. It was an online class and he assigned more work than I have ever had to do for one class before. He is also extremely nitpicky with his grading. Although I ended up with a decent grade, the class was very time consuming.

Comment:

Fink is very direct in his expectations and from the first day of the semester you will know everything that is due for the semester. Extremely accessible to students and shows geniune care for each one's success. Can get off topic to aleviate dryness of course required material. Clear expectations and one of the best professors I've had.

I took this class online and didn't have too much trouble. Sometimes he can nitpick and take off points here and there. Make sure that you're doing the weekly discussion boards on time and replying to two students, as these assignments add up quick. Don't slack and you'll be fine.

Fink is unique at best. His lectures are a serious struggle to get through. He's the type of guy that always has to one-up you in everything. He seems really nice, just annoying as a professor. Overall the classwork is pretty easy, study his study guides and example questions and quizzes before the exams and you'll pass.

He is an incredibly nice person and always willing to help, which is good because his lectures will leave you incredibly confused. He doesn't give a lot of clarification on assignments and most of the course is completed in the last 4 weeks of class. Be sure to study the study guides and his sample questions and you will do well.

Dr. Fink is nice and extremely helpful. His classes are a LOT of work, therefore, I wouldn't recommend taking 2 of his classes at the same time. You don't need the book for any of his classes(ive had 3) but you need to buy the course packs. Use his study guides for the exams, and drink plenty of coffee because he can be pretty boring.

I had his Benefits class and Compensation at the same class. It was informative. Comp class is lot of work, but it depends on group you in. Benefits class had course pack and I didnt use book, but his notes and study guide. Lectures were clear and related, he is very helpful. You have to study, but it pays for itself. I enjoyed both of his classes

I personally enjoyed him as a professor, he's a very intelligent man. Study hard for the tests. He provides more than enough study guides for the exams therefore u may not need the book. Sometimes he gets off track; talks about his personal life.

Attendance is mandatory, you can only miss 2 classes. The project is rough & make sure you get a good group. There is ALOT to do in a short amount of time. Plus exams on top of the work. Very informative and good sense of humor. The book is not worth the buy because the tests come directly from his study guides. He was very helpful outside of class

Dr. Fink is a great professor. He's really knowledgeable. I took his benefit class and his compensation class. I don't recommend taking them in the same semester because the last 4 weeks in compensation require ALOT of work, on top of exams. Other than that, I liked him, and learned alot!

Dr. Fink is a really funny and great teacher. his class is tough, but accounting is tough no matter who teaches it. he really tries to help his students out and make things easier. he also puts his notes online, and that helps out alot also.
