Comment:

Larry is a great teacher. He can get boring because he moves slowly, repeats things a lot, and his voice is somewhat monotonous. Still, he knows econ inside and out, and his explanations and teaching methods and great. Tests aren't too easy. But if you pay attention in class and study you'll do fine. He curves a lot. take him if you can.

Hes a bit dry but the lectures aren't to bad. There is a strict attendance policy but my thought on that is your grade will only benefit and if you do go to all classes +3%. Very little homework. Optional paper. Funny and very flexable. I liked him

Donnelly is ubelievably boring. He pretends to know what he's talking about, but you can tell he's making it all up off the top of his head. He tries to be helpful, but he never answers the question that was asked...he just rambles on about what he just drew on the board until you give up and say you understand. I would not recommend him.

I swear he pretended to know a lot more than he did. I made it clear that he was not one of my favorite teachers (infact really turned me off to economics), and in turn I'm sure he didn't give me and breaks when grading.

The class is boring, but he is a fair grader and the tests are really easy! Once you understand what the topics are the class is really interesting. He tries to use relevant issues to explain the topics. Mandatory attendance though! Good Class!

most boring class ive ever had, mandatory attendance, tests hard, doesnt cover all material during lecture so you have to read the whole book, hes a nice guy and loves econ but avoid this class if at all possible, especially if its early b/c you will sleep through the whole semester... good luck!!!

Lectures are kind of boring, as the teacher is monotonous, but he is very intelligent on the subject and will help you if you need it. Plus, the textbook (Mankiw) is ridiculously clear and concise and can essentially replace the lectures. Tests are hard

He was a huge beast, i love this guy. Not really hard at all. Kinda oblivious to stuff going on in the class even though i had like 10 people in my honors section. Pretty easy A. fun class.

Very deliberate, a bit monotonous, but he gets his point across. The book IMO is a piece of crap, but you'll need it for the homework. He's flexible, but with only exams and one project to grade, you had better do well on the big'uns!
