Highly recommend taking her class. She really cares if you understand the concepts or not. Replies emails with any query as fast as she can. You will definitely end up learning a lot. Makes you earn the marks so get ready to put in the effort. Tests are not straight forward and she will make you doubt your understandings.

She is passionate about her work but her teaching style suits to undergrads . She can help you understand basic topics. The worst thing about her is , she judge students and take interest in them accordingly. So overall, if you are taking this course be prepared to mug up her lecture notes else you will be terrible position.

Wonderful prof. Leila is really sweet and will deliver the material in an easy and clear to understand manner. She really knows her stuff and can explain it well too. She also provides lots of practice material and sample exams to work with. Easy to do well if you put in the work. Would take again.

The professor and the way she teaches is extremely appreciated, but this professor is not good in grading for graduate students. DO NOT take the course if you are a graduate student, as your GPA will decrease at the end of the semester. The course itself is perfect, and I believe that undergraduate students are always satisfied with the course.

Amazing Teacher (for this course, haven't taken her elsewhere). Being in class is good because she makes complicated concepts easy. Puts up annotated slides after class(reg before), if you're in class you will remember what was said when she wrote it; meaning, if you weren't in class it wont be as helpful. No Book, useful assignments ,cool project.

Many professors are just experts in their fields who communicate their expertise, but Leila is among the experts in her field who are also excellent teachers. Above every other position she has, she's a teacher. Excellent notes, useful examples, and she conveys the lecture effectively. As an undergrad student, you can't ask for more.

Never take Graduate course with her. She is not clear with her own material. People think of her as hilarious but I found that she uses prompt comments to abstain from explaining material. She judges too quickly, no chances of improving grades once you score bad in any of the exams. Not reachable (sometimes she just avoids you).

I think Leila is a great teacher (at least for AI!). She clearly knows the subject and seem to be interested in it herself. Her slides are clear and the course is interesting IMO. Quite a bit of work but if you listen and do properly you assignments you should be fine. Overall she is clear and interesting, knowledgeable, good.

She had hard time explaining few concepts sometimes in the course. French being her first language did not help much either. But she is very approachable and helpful. I agree with some comments that the exams are harder than the way she explains in the class.

She is explaining well and generally speaking is a good teacher . She is extremely feminist though and narrow minded when it come to men and women subjects. I could see the shades of backward way of thinking in her personality . She is a fair marker and well prapared for taching the material. She is not boring and makes her students enthusiastic.

Dont take a graduate course with her if you know her graduate students take the same course. She simply discriminate to give them better marks. Your english accent in the paper presentation, or a bit late submission of the project (some hours) can result a huge deduction of your mark. late submission (even a week) is fine if you are her own student
