I'll just say Steve is probably one of the most knowledgeable Cisco instructors you can get to introduce you to the world of networking. I believe the one thing I valued most about his class is that he didn't coddle you , and made you think before asking a dumb question. Seriously besides Wendell Odem's books for CCNA, his classes are great.

Steve knows his stuff. He is one of the most knowledgeable people I know regarding anything CCNA related. A great professor, always willing to help work with the student. The only draw back is that his lectures can be long and he tends to go on a lot of tangents, which can leave you burnt out by the end of class. Overall a good professor though!

Steve is one of the most knowledgeable teachers for cisco, he has a ton of real world knowledge but struggles to get on a students level. Steve often goes on long tangents . Overall a good teacher but is a very and i mean very dry teacher.

Steve is a helpful, knowledgeable instructor that is always willing to lend a hand if you are willing to put forth a reasonable effort. He presents an excellent mix of real-world examples and hands-on instruction that will help you gain the skills you need to succeed in the field. I can't recommend him enough.

Steve is probably one of the most influential people in my proffesional career. He is one of the most knowledgeable instructors in Ohio, and maybe even the US when it comes to Cisco. He even assists in helping Cisco create their curriculum! If you are looking to advance in the Networking field, then this is the instructor that you want to have!

Very friendly professor, but assumes that students know many things before attending class. There are no prerequisites for the class, which is supposed to be introductory for networking. Needs to cover terms better. Also a high use of internet textbooks, among other necessities becomes a detriment.
