It is the best Distance Course I have taken. Everything is self contained. Lots of examples and additional practice problems. I never need to ask any questions as the instructor made everything clear before hand. Wish all distance courses were like this one.

Worst distance course prof ever. Doesn't answer questions, just refers to an email, the videos, or another section. If you ask more then one question, he will just read part of your email. Takes forever to answer email. Doesn't grasp the concept that people may not know as much as him.

The best statistics teacher I have ever seen. Give useful comments on assignments but require a lot of work compare to other courses. This course load is equal to two other grad courses in Engineering.

Excellent teacher. Gives excellent notes, lots of examples, problem sets with solutions. Gets the class to complete questions in class, a great teaching method. Exams are fair, although the marking scheme isn't the greatest. Final was brutal.

Awesome to talk to one-on-one. Always lent a helping hand. But he didn't always give the full answers, he wanted to make you think for yourself. There was no right or wrong answer when you talked to him.

Good at explaining concepts in class, enjoys teaching and helping students. Got a great sense of humour, like to say __ is the best thing since slice breads (i.e. DOE, RSM, Box Plots, factorial design etc.). DOE golf and mini catapult machines are fun.
