tough class especially having not taken calc before. such a nice person but she can often be hard to understand as she teaches. assigns a lot of homework, some of which can include problems never discussed in class. drops lowest test&replaces with exam grade which is good, but she should actually review for tests instead of making up review games

Nice, but class is EXTREMELY boring. Quizzes every friday but those are a joke. her tests are really fair also. She does make quite a few small errors while writing problems on the board, so you have to catch some of her mistakes. Overall, though, she does a good job.

Very smart lady but a has no idea how ot teach the material. gives alot of homework and grades it so gotta stay up on the work, quizes every friday and if never taken calc b4 class is hard but if u have its not that bad, oh n VERY BORING

not too good, be prepared to teach yourself everything. I wound up going back to the teacher i had the semster before because she didn't make any sense. makes 100000 mistakes on the board, and is clearly afriad of all the students. don't get me started on 'fun fridays'

Absolutely brilliant woman.Had her in topics in contemp math and I'm really not sure why I took her again this semester but there weren't too many teachers available. In the beginning of this semester I thought I was doing great...but once you get to Probability and stuff in chapter six...EVERYONE starts to fail. Avoid her if you can.

Nice young prof, kinda cute, knows her stuff, but can't teach it well at all. Offers help, but just makes you more confused. Not big on attendance, but gives quizzes rather often and there's a few tests. Homework is collected weekly and is graded. If you're not a math wiz you'll end up teaching yourself, so avoid her if possible.

Frustrating and awkward. No syllabus so you never know what is coming next and you have to go to every class because she pulls random quizzes. Class is forever long. Stats is really not hard, but she does not make it easier or more interesting for you. Nice lady.. but stay away..

She's nice and a young prof, but she hasn't gotten the whole teaching thing down yet. She's not so helpful in class, but if you see her during office hours she's very accomodating. She assigns too much weight to certain test problems, but is always willing to give partial credit. I didn't really like her class/teaching style, but she's fair.

I took her over the summer; she was not the most organized teacher and was not very clear with the lessons, but she was very accomodating about helpfulness and very chill. I would recommend her if you're willing to put in the extra time to study. Plus, she's really hot.

She's alright. There are quizzes every week but she drops the five lowest. There is a group project that is done over the whole semester. If you go to her for help, she will try her best. Her tests are harder than i expected tho. You have to do the homework if you want to score well on the quizz
