Comment:

Professor Miller used lots of interactive activities in class. However, the class was often unorganized and the schedule frequently changed. Even though I learned a lot about teaching language arts, many of the assignment felt unnecessary. Grades included participation, 5 pop quizzes, a midterm, 3 lesson plans, a final project, and a final exam.

Professor Miller was a good internship supervisor, but there are a lot of assignments beyond interning including 8 reflection logs, 2 lesson plans with reflections, a final project, and a final exam. She is often frazzled and stressed. At times her grading expectations were unclear, but overall she cares about her students and is a fair grader.

Professor Miller is an amazing person. She is so sweet and makes her students feel like family. She made me feel very comfortable and was always willing to help! I think she fully prepared us for all assignments and for teaching in general.

Professor Miller is amazing. She has high expectations, but they're completely reasonable. The workload towards the end of the semester is insane, but I felt I got something out of every assignment we did. You won't regret taking her class. She is extremely encouraging and is a great internship professor. Her class has made me a better teacher.

Mrs. Miller is a wonderful lady who seems to really care about all her students. She is an award winning faculty member and it shows! She goes above and beyond to make sure you have all the informatin you need and gives plenty of examples. Can be a tough grader but only because she wants you to be your best! Would absolutely take her again!

one of the best teachers i have had at TU. i had her for both ELED 363 and ELED 323. she is incredibly sweet and is always there to help you. if you have the opportunity to take her DO IT!

Professor Miller is demanding but fair. She has high expectations yet clearly outlines exactly what she is looking for. She is a little scatterbrained but once she finds her thought, she will provide more examples than you actually need to succeed in the assignment. There is constant support offered and discussions are thought provoking.

Comment:

Prof Miller was one of the first professors that I took at Towson(Transferstudent)and I loved every minute of her classes. She was very helpful when it came to writing lesson plans, and she definitely cares about all of her students and their success in her class. I would love to take another class with her, but she doesn't teach anything I need.

Professor Miller was such a sweetheart and went out of her way to help a student in need as much as she could. She grades hard and gives pop quizzes on occasion, but if you've read the book and listened to her short lectures, you should be able to do just fine. I would take another class she teaches without hesitation if given the opportunity.

Professor Miller is a great teacher. She shows a great example of how to teach, how to write lessons and supporting her students. She is more like a friend than a teacher but she will tell you how it is if you are slacking. She provides helpful feedback but is a little brain scattered with grading and forgetting things.

I had her for ELED 323 and 363 for Level 1 of the Elementary Education program. She is an amazing teacher. She truly cares for her students and wants you to succeed. She is extremely helpful and answers emails within the hour! She is a bit scatterbrained, but I would suggest her to any aspiring teacher. She is nothing less than motivating!

I had her for 363/323. She is pretty nice and the work isn't to hard. The final is an easy A. There are quizes on the chapters (but they are random, and pretty easy). Attendance is mandatory or she WILL kick you out of the class. She is a bit scatter brained, but she's trying. Allows for a lot of on topic group discussion.

One of my best professors to date! She is great, enthusiastic and so passionate about her students and what she teaches! She's very understanding: I had a tough moment during the semester and she was very supportive of me. Really a wonderful person and educator. JUMP at the chance to have her! She's so amazing.

Mrs. Miller is a wonderful professor and you will learn a great deal from her! Keep up with assignments, participate in class and show an enthusiasm for teaching and you will do great! She offers practical advice and teaching strategies. Def try and take her for ELED 323 and 363! She made an effort to come see each of us in the clasroom each week!
