If you read the text rigorously and study hard you won't have any issues. There are no assignments in PSYCH 101, only testing. Although if you write bonus assignments (1 page in length, and easy) you can earn an extra 10% on your grade. Lecture notes are not necessary.

I would highly recommend finding a different prof for psych 101. She is a very nice lady who is very knowledgeable but really is not cut out for teaching. She often comments on how most of her class is failing ... that speaks for itself... I was super disapointed for I was really looking forward to taking psych

Lindy is a terrible teacher. Shes passionate about psychology but shes not cut out to be a teacher... lectures are useless, nothing she says in class will be on the tests. Goes way too far in depth on things you dont need to know. STUDY THE TEXT BOOK! After the first couple classes I found my time was better spent studying the text book at home.

Comment:

Lindy is a different type of instructor. She is a very smart lady, though her classes are very nontraditional. All I suggest you do is read the chapters of the textbook she assigns. Tests are word for word out of the book. Make sure to read side bubbles in the text as well. I wouldn't her classes are overly hard, bu they aren't exactly easy either.

Great teacher, tests are quite hard but lectures more than made up for it. Could see why others disliked the class because of difficulty and lectures getting into specifics more than text and exam.

From the perspective of a fairly academic A+ student, this may be the worst class I have ever attended. It isn't hard, although I think she marks toughly to compensate. The entire course is just a big test-bank of questions directly from the book, often referencing obscure pictures or facts that most students would ignore. Boring and pointless.

What a waste of time. Boring, flaky, late to class and runs over. She gives out articles in class but none of them are less than twenty years old. Same goes for statistics in her poorly organized notes. You should probably update your teaching materials more often so that you're not teaching statistics that are older than your students.

Linda munk is an awesome professor overall however for her exams you have to study in detail because she likes including the findings of researches and names of the experimenters and information about the subjects of the experiment

She's such a cute lady,I really want to like her but her classes are so useless. Read the textbook and you're good to go. She can be very inconsistent with what she wants/expects regarding class presentations, and papers etc. Rarely went to class and got a B+ even without doing a presentation worth 10%(not sure if she even noticed)
