Comment:

Her humor is a little odd but you can tell she genuinely enjoys teaching. I would not take her again because she takes forever to grade an essay and does not provide ample feedback about them. I think she is just the right amount of strict but if you miss something important, good luck making it up.

Comment:

This professor has a great sense of humor, but you have to enjoy sarcasm. She is a tough grader, and you won't pass her class if you don't show up and keep track of assignments. She isn't always clear on the guidelines of papers, but she is willing to take the time to meet with every student.

This is a Lowe level English but she treats it like a graduate level course. Her instructions are not clear and all you do is write papers on boring stories that she turns around and destroys. She makes me hate writing, and I do not want to continue on to grad school just because of her. I just want to graduate and be done with college all together

I'm sure she is a nice person, but I had no idea how I was doing in the class because she did not grade my first major assignment before the last big paper was due!!! How can I improve if I don't get feedback from assignments? Also, textbook examples directly conflicted with her expectations for assignments. Would not take another class from her

I really enjoyed having her as an English teacher! I thought I wasn't good at writing essays until I joined her class, and my writing skills improved a lot! Attending class is pretty crucial if you want to pass. But, she does make you work for your grade.

Great communication, easy a, always there to help. These are qualities of good profs, which she is absolutely not and never will be!!! This poor excuse of a teacher never clearly explained how to do any of her essays and always expected you to find out for your self which is pretty hard to interpret some of the information you find. DO NOT TAKE HER

I was a straight A student until I took this course. What really messed me up was that I was absent for a week due to illness and I missed a Peer Critique. She would not let me make anything up and with the Peer Critique you can never EVER make it up but she still requires you to go to the writing center and talk to a tutor. WORST CLASS EVER!!!

This should have been a good class but the professor made it terrible. She never grades anything. Here is at the end and she has only graded a few assign. She grades papers with a score only, no feedback. Basically she puts up assign. once a wk and that is the end of her class involvement. 3/4 the time she posts the assign late. Poor communication

She does not follow the syllabus. She sloppily keeps track of her grading. As a student policing of her grading is necessary, I had to fight for my points. I submitted my portfolio she admitted having it in her hands but because she misinterpreted what it was in her box for she refused to give me points for it, though it was her error.

I would not take her class again, I feel she may have had issue in her life that have spilled over to her class. I don't know if it is bitterness or she just want to put up road blocks. This is really an easy class but it is hard becuase you have to deal with the professor.

I thought that the readings for Environ. Lit. were poorly chosen. In addition, she grades graduate students with a rubric, thus ensuring poor grades for many good students. It's a lazy way to grade and disgraceful to apply it to college students.
