This professor is the most boring teacher I have ever had. I went to class and wanted to fall asleep everyday. Luckily he is the easiest grader ever. We had 2 different papers due and decided they were not necessary because he did not want to grade him. He will constantly go on lectures talking about the fall of liberal arts universities.

This dude is too old to be teaching. He makes you take pointless history notes and 80% of them will not be in your paper or any relation to your paper. he talks to fast to get all the notes anyway. You have to show up to class to even have a chance. Go to the writing center at least 3 times for each paper. This dude sucks ass

He was the worst professor I ever had. If you don't take word-for-word notes then you will literally not pass. Everyone's paper in the class is supposed to match each other's. No room for creativity which is odd because it's a writing class. It's basically if you don't write like Meade then you are wrong. Got yelled at for adding my own ideas.

Comment:

Engl 601 online was a waste of time! Syllabus was very unclear and his rare responses to emails didn't help the confusion. No interaction between him and the full class even in discussion boards. We only watched DVDs, so anything I happened to learn was no thanks to him. No grading criteria or expectations to go off, just a grade given at the end.

I took an online graduate literature course with him. He answered e-mails promptly and helped get needed materials available in the college bookstore. His assignments were straight-forward. I did the assignments at an MA level and received an A. No heavy discussion board posting required. Am taking him for a second class by choice next term.

Easily the worst professor I've ever had. Makes it clear that he doesn't care about his students or their grades and is rude when you try to seek help. Tests over material that is not talked about in class. Impossible to get a good grade. He also lectured the class more than once on being an "unsuccessful generation." WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

This instructor is very difficult to get along with. He does nothing but lecture, and then veers off topic talking about the many downfalls of our generation. Some of the information on the tests was never talked about in class, and he is a very difficult grader.

This is possibly the worst instructor I have ever had. He class is so boring, too. All he does is lecture, and he gets off topic and begins telling us how we are the worst generation ever. Well I think that he is the worst instructor ever.

Do your homework or will be kicked out. He is really confusing, talks about random things and doesn't give directions well. Go to class because he gives tests randomly and does not offer make up days. You have to look in the book for everything! He also singles out the Chinese students a lot for being better at grammar than Americans.

He gave all the history majors an A, and the fifth year seniors...not really fair. This is a 125 level course, most of us are freshman and he expects us to write at his level? Don't think so. Class is extremely boring. I would highly recommend taking another professor.

Took 5 classes from him in distance learning and earned an "A" for each class. Encouraged me to push myself and I ended up surprising myself in how well I did and how much I learned. A little slow with feedback, but once I took 2 course from him, I looked for his other classes. Thought he was great

The structure of the lessons allowed for the students to get alot out of the course. I learned more from him than I expected. The assignments were straight forward, you just have to do the work. Excellent teacher.
