Professor Margulis is not only one of the most down to earth professors, but is also one of the smartest. She expects you to do your part to learn the material but is always available to help you and gives great feedback on how to approach things in a way that is helpful. Highly recommend for Music Theory classes and any class she teaches.

Dr. Margulis is wonderful. She's kind, helpful, funny, and very intelligent. She was always very busy but amazingly was ALWAYS telling us to email her or call her if we had any questions or needed help on homework (which you can expect every day- it's not that bad). She is honestly an awesome professor and person. I highly recommend her classes.

She's a pretty fun teacher. Hard to keep up with though. She is enthusiastic but goes off on tangents every now and then but it is a pretty easy class if you pay attention and come. Plus she's always there to help and ask questions.

She is a tough but pretty good teacher. There is a lot of reading for most of her classes, and she can be a little particular with her grading. Just listen to her and follow her lead in discussion, and you will be fine. She is interesting and has a lot of neat research and life experiences.

Mrs. Margulis made everything as simple as possible in a hard class. It's true, it's hard to keep up with her she's so smart. She has really witty anecdotes and a way of explaning that makes sense. Her classes are hard, but she's flexible. One more thing: She's THE hottest teacher I've seen in my life.Jura you lucky SOB. Congrats on the baby, btw
