I love Miyashita-sensei! Great language TA and calligraphy teacher. She comes off like a drill sergeant, so do not get on her bad side.

Comment:

Very strict! No gum-chewing and DO NOT BE LATE~! Very good teacher though. You will definately learn vocabulary and kanji with her. If you put the effort into studying she will help you a LOT. Nobody wants to make Miyashita-sensei disappointed. (If you've had her you get it ^_^) DO THE HOMEWORK.

She is a really sweet lady in class and out! Advice: She will drill you on your "te" forms but DO NOT NEGLECT THEM!!! They are part of almost all Japanese grammar along with short forms. If you don't learn them all other classes will be hard and she does a great job helping you memorize them.

We call her the DRILL LADY. You'll learn so much and you will learn how to pronounce words better. She's funny too. Highly recommend. Make sure you remember all the Kanji before you go to class.
