Comment:

I have had him twice. I wish he taught me every class I have ever taken. He will explain things in as many ways as possible until you understand. He is dedicated to his class and knows how to throw in some good one liners. I want to take his classes over and over again. I find his examinations are fair and very straight forward.

Comment:

Even if the material is difficult, he does his best to describe EXACTLY what you need to know via the lecture slides, which ends up saving lots of time when going back to study. Lectures always go by very quick because he makes the content interesting. One of my favourite profs!

He's engaged with the students and likes to talk with them. He is enthusiastic about the subject matter, and it doesn't come across as forced or faked. He focuses lectures on the bigger picture, like the macroeffects of some structure or system, but you will also need to memorize the specific details of what makes up the structure.

Coppolino is amazing. There are very few professors who actually care and put effort into teaching. Always engaging, always entertaining, I always WANTED to attend lectures. One of the best things about him is that he dumbs down the material and makes it easy to understand. Would love to take another one of his courses!

Great prof, I did really well on the midterm because it was based almost entirely off of his class lectures notes, which he posts online ahead of time. I only used the textbook occasionally if i did not understand something. If you take this course, study off his notes !

He is awesome! His classes are interesting, his pace is perfect, and he's also hilarious. He uses the textbook but only pulls out the nessessary stuff. I never used the text in his half of the course :) The exam is very straight forward, no tricks!

Such an awesome prof. He's really interesting and I love his slides about Nobel Prize winners that tie in with the music he plays in the ten minutes before his lectures. He makes himself available to students and is really good with explaining difficult concepts. I'm in the MBG major and can't wait to take his classes in upper years!
