She is so incredibly, amazingly, insanely nice. Makes a 3 hour class at 8:10 worth it. She makes coffee every class and brings pastries on critique day. She knows when you really care and are working hard, and when you are just treating the class as a way to fulfill a requirement. So talented. Gives helpful feedback. Love her.

Marcell is beyond awesome! I felt like she really cared about what I was doing. I would highly recommend a class with her. Sometimes, she'll say things I couldn't have even thought of, but in the end, she really wants her students to do well! She's also pretty much the cutest woman ever! She just makes you smile, she's so excited about everything.

Marcella is always helpful and engaged with her students' work. She does a great (and fun) job teaching the basics efficiently so that you end up with lots of time to practice and develop creative shooting and printing techniques. Take advantage of open labs: she can show you so many great tricks.
