Dr. Ward is an amazing teacher. Study guides are available to follow her lectures. 2 tests and 6 quizzes (drops lowest grade). Tests are hard and you have to study A LOT to do well. But she is always available for help and is very good explaining things one on one. Her tests are difficult but make you study so you actually learn the material.

She is better than most of the economic department. Gives straightfoward print-out study guides for each class which helps so you don't have to pay attention. Weekly quizzes sometimes suck but not too bad 4 mc 2 short answer and exams are okay.

Great Class. If she taught Macro i would have taken her in a heart beat. Really nice lady who has a passion for teaching and her students. Quizzes were weekly and were based on in class discussions and outlines. Not many tests besides midterm and final. Overall Great class

Macro economics is not for the feint of heart. The toughest subject matter requires a great teacher. This prof does a very good job. You'll get a ton, but there are two tons to learn. Tough but fair grader, and let's you know where you blew it (the only prof who uses a grading rubric). Covers a mile each week so you can't afford to miss class.

Annoying accent, don't take an 8am, she'll annoy the crap out of you. Thinks shes always right, bad at explaining and providing examples for things. She's pretty easy if you go to class and actually pay attention and put in effort. I didn't and still got a B.

Great teacher. Very smart and knows the material she is teaching.Short time for quizzes, but, there only 5 questions and not hard. For tests she gives you a review practice test which helps a lot. I would recommend her class to anyone who is required to take micro-econ. For an A, you will be studying but its doable.

Could not agree more with the Fall '05 ratings. She gives you 5 minutes to take a 10 minute quiz. Tests are hard- really just overall just try to avoid this- needs to improve the teaching style for sure. I must say though that she does take time to answer your questions.

Shes GREAT. Her only flaw is that she teaches early morning classes. She does everything she can to help you learn. Tests are completely fair, challenging, but not too difficult so you can definitely do well with the littlest bit of effort. take this class!
