Super easy, the only way you won't pass her class is if you don't go. She lets you know every single thing necessary that will be on tests, no beating around the bush or anything so nothing on the tests are surprises. Very lightweight on homework too. She gave us 3 required textbooks but we didn't even need them if we went to lecture, I only got 1

Great structure to class. 3 tests, not cumulative. 3 writing assignments and 16 participation days. She gives extra credit and curves her tests. My grade is a 102% right now. Just go to class, semi pay attention and you can get an A.

This class is pretty easy. If you even speak once during class, you'll write your name down and will receive credit for speaking. There are only 3 tests and there are under 30 questions on each one. Before the tests, she goes over all of the handouts and tells you what will be on the test, and she only tests on what she tells you will be on it.

The lecture was very interesting and amazing. Those who are interested in Maya, Aztec and Inca must take this course! But I had an impression that she was more passionate in teaching Maya topics than Aztec and Inca. Anyway, she was a great teache.

Dr. Masson taught this class very well. Very passionate about the material she covers. She covers a good amount of information but gives it to you in a way that helps you understand it. Gives plenty of extra credit chances. The grading is very easy, put in a little effort and you should get an A. I highly recommend Dr. Masson.

Great professor. It is cool to have someone teaching who really likes the material. It makes me wish I could go to Mesoamerica to see the stuff in person. Hard class but attend all the lectures and you'll pass. Shows movies too.

I honestly hated this class and it was mainly because of this professor. Her slide had way to much information on them with a small font. Has reveiw sheets for tests, but are very vague. She likes having conversations with herself during lecture and always sated that we'd cover this later feeling like we never learned anything.Took attendanceinLC18

Nice and easygoing, like the class she teaches. Might play up the passive side of the civilizations a little too much, and downplay their more violent aspects, but such seems common in the archaeological circle. Class isn't difficult, though it may feel material-heavy. Slides are rife with images and culture. Recommended.

dont bother trying to take notes b/c they wont make sense. she just talks in circles and then expects you to be able to think about it critically on tests. buy the text books cause thats the only way you'll get the info about what you're looking at.
