Comment:
Dr. Dadarlat was incredibly hard for me to understand due to his thick accent. I stopped going to lecture, and I instead watch Dr. Joe Chen's lectures online because I can understand them better. This course has been very difficult for me, so watch out!

He is good at explaining in class and his lecture notes are very clear, helpful and systematic. He doesn't skip over things just to get them done.

He is a really nice guy who loves to crack little jokes and smile a lot during lecture. He has a bit of an accent but it's nothing you can't understand. One thing I didn't like is he would try to cram a lot of material into each lecture and would sometimes run over. Overall, he is a pretty good professor for Calc 3 and I would recommend him.

He kind of beats around the bush when teaching a new lesson, but he does get to the point eventually. He does have an accent, but I was able to understand him just fine. His handwriting is legible, he includes humor an appropriate amount of times, and he's very pretty good at explaining things. Overall, he was a fine choice and I'm grateful.

Comment:
He must be a better Calc 3 prof than Linear Algebra, because this guy was a truly awful professor for linear. Disorganized notes, I could never tell his m's from his n's, and he consistently padded lectures with about 20 minutes of general rambling that had nothing to do with relevant material. Half the class stopped showing up. Avoid for MA265.

Professor Dadarlat is a great professor. He really helped me solidify my knowledge about the major theorems of Vector Calculus (especially Stokes' Theorem), as well as helped me understand Surface Integrals, as a whole. He can sometimes go on a tangent, but usually, it's a very brief, but quite humorous story. It can help lighten the mood.

I had him for both Calc. 3 and Real Analysis. He is a good instructor. He is very funny, but at the same time, very philosophical and passionate, and he makes you want to think like a mathematician, when approaching to solve problems, even though the class is not easy.

ULTRA enthusiastic guy, hes a good professor, and does funny things with his face... unintentionally. rely on recitation to solidify what you learn in lecture and keep your friends with you to solve homeworks

Sometimes difficult to understand, he writes very fast. The combination of his fast writing speed and my inability to understand him made me have to use to book for most of my learning.

Nice guy, good lecturer, explains things well, and helpful when needed. However, somewhat hard to understand at times, and with the complicated material, this can be detrimental.

Very good math teacher. I personally had no trouble understanding him. He actually reminds me of Gargamel from the Smurfs TV show. In other words, he has an awesome accent. His lectures were very useful to go to and he does crack the occasional joke. Good math teacher overall.

I took MA 544 (Real Analysis) with him several years back. He was really good at explaining the concept, always came to class well prepared. The exams was challenging, so don't get disappointed if you get 60 in the final, you may have got the highest score in the class.

Professor Dadarlat really knows his stuff, and is good at breaking down the technical stuff and letting you know what the material really means. He's also pretty funny at times. Also, don't let his speech mannerisms fool you--he might seem snippy, but that's just because English isn't his first language. He's a really nice guy.

He's not the best, but not the worst either. He at least takes time to help, albeit a little snippy and such.
