Comment:

Rush is a pretty good professor. Lectures are about 4 hours every week and are quite boring. You can easily do smokin notes or study edge without watching the lectures to get a good grade on the exams. He also gives whole percentage points of extra credit.

Rush has been at UF forever, and he hasn't really changed much. I messed up pretty bad on the first exam, but he drops a midterm if it helps your grade. Got study edge, which helped a ton. Missed an A in the class by literally 1 exam question, but he is fair. 90% of your grade is exams, so make sure to do all the practice exams. Do the extra credit

Comment:

Rush is the best teacher I have ever had. He is full of passion and knowledge for economics and is also passionate about his students. Not only is he caring, but he is also super funny (which makes for an awesome class if you ask me). He always made sure everyone was clear on a topic before moving on. You should choose him as your professor!

Comment:

Easiest class ever. Can use a 3x5 index card on tests, but the tests are so straightforward and clear you won't even need them. Don't just watch the lectures, actually go to the live class. He's so passionate about economics and nice. Only 2 midterms and a final, but I finished with over a 100. Do the practice exams before tests. Almost identical.

Easily my favorite professor thus far. You can tell he genuinely loves teaching & actually cares about whether or not his students do well. You HAVE to put in work, though. Watch the lectures, ask questions, take the practice exams, do it all or you'll be kicking yourself later.

Amazing. Get studyedge and you will pass. Watching the lectures is good because Dr. Rush is a respected, good lecturer, but it is not necessary. There is also extra credit. Easy if you study.

Professor Mark rush's lectures are pretty well organized and interesting. However, as an online course you definitely don't want stack all these hour-long videos together until last few days before midterm or final. And please, do some textbook practice. That really helps with exams. Honestly questions are 40% concept memorization. Good luck bro.

Mark Rush is an expert in his field. He clearly explains the class expectations from the first day, and genuinely cares about each of his students doing well in the class. Aside from the textbook and helpful online resources and Dr. Rush's lectures, a campus tutoring service, Study Edge also provided helpful materials to prepare for the exams.

Dr. Rush has hardly changed his teaching ways since he first began teaching - which is great for new students. Practice exams are super helpful, and Study Edge exam reviews sum up all of his super long lectures. I'd take it again!

Dr. Rush is a great lecturer and very straight forward. However, his lectures can be longwinded sometimes. I used Study Edge in order to condense a lot of his information so it made it more simplistic for the exams. Exams are also very fair, no hard tricks. Watch the lectures and you'll be fine!

Rush was one of the greatest professors I have had at UF. His banter with the director is super entertaining and he is a nice, funny guy in general. The class is easy if you practice and care about what you are learning.

Comment:

Professor Rush truly is one of the most respected professors at UF as hes been teaching for over 30 years and so many students are required to take his class. His lectures are always entertaining and he thoroughly explains the material. The only draw back to his class is that your entire grade is based only on three tests.
