Lots of reading, but as long as you keep up, it's not hard. Do not slack on the bulletin boards and responses as she will respond to every single post. Four papers total, but the topics are basically your choice although she will give you options. I took this class online, and as long as you read well, write well, and log on every day, you'll pass.

Dr. Kohli was so great! I am a pretty good writer so I didn't need much help outside of class, but she was always helping other students and giving second chances. The assignments were always clear and she stuck to the syllabus. There was a grammar or reading quiz every class (at least with the short semester) so there wasn't much room to skip.

Dr. Kohli is an amazing teacher. She is extremely helpful and gives great feedback on writing assignments which help significantly when you have to turn that short writing assignment into an essay. Make sure you read the stories assigned because there will be a quiz on them. They're simple and she drops your two lowest reading quizzes.

Kind soul does not begin to describe Dr.K. She grades everyones papers before the next class, even if that means she has to take up her whole weekend to do so. She always emailed me back very quickly, no matter how stupid the question was. She's always willing to help so TAKE IT. My favorite teacherclass I've ever taken.

I took her American Literature Survey course online and found she was very helpful. The course only consisted of several papers written on a topic of your choice as long as it pertains to the passages covered in the course. She is an amazing teacher. Her grammar tests are hard because she wants you to learn and she drops your lowest scores anyway. You have to do the readings, but she is really helpful with papers. She is adorable and funny and everyone enjoys her class, even if they don't like English. Best class all term.
