Dr. Watson is a very intelligent lady and a great teacher! I never expected to learn the things we did in her class, but I will say, I can definitely use the things I learned in the future, which is a great feeling. Never bought the book and this was not a problem because she didn't even mention more than once that we would need to.

Professor Watson is amazing. She knows so much about television and unlike other professors at Eastern, she has incredible passion for what she teaches. I HIGHLY recommend her courses.

I was surprised by the class material(which didn't seem to relate to the course description.) Watson is friendly but means business; yet, she often gave work days and then left early. Textbook only used for final exam. Showed numerous video clips near the end of the semester, but it related to the subject matter.

She is a delightful professor. Her copywriting class is mostly writing commercials, reading them to the class, and listening to others' commercials. Also a lot of video examples, and at least a few days of just watching these. Easy, fun class. There's moderate book usage the first few weeks, but then almost none for the rest of the semester.

479 was a script writing class, which was good. But I reccomend the Media Ethics class. You may not agree with Watson's views, but you'll have a broader perspective on the impact the media has on our society, and vice versa.
