Mary was my advisor 1994-1997. Her ESC340 class stimulating. Mary encouraged me to attain an A in my math class, which I did. She also encouraged me in my writing -- The first edition of my book, The Tangram Zoo and Word Puzzles Too! Second Edition 2012 available on Amazon. Now retired, I taught for 7+ years, loving every minute. THANKS, Mary!

When I got my grade, I had a C-, when I had gotten a B or higher on the ONLY three assignments given for the class, and had presented all of them to the class. I found out she had claimed that I had not done one of the three at all, and had recorded the grade as a 0. I had to go to the Dean to get the correct grade. She's horrible.

Classes are not worth attending, mostly busy work. Lists and worksheets, no clear instructions. She is nice and hopefully will improve.

No real connection to teaching science in the real world. Very disorganized with no direction. Repetitive in class activities. Lots of list making in class. Means well, but doesn't really connect with students. Class had no textbook which made lectures very unfocused. Least valuable of all the methods courses.

There were no connections between class, the readings, assignments, and the classroom. She is ver unorganized. By far the professor that I learned the least from in the College of Education.

A very nice lady with cool hobbies. Classwork doesn't connect with homework. Some field work, which is good.

She was not only my professor but also advisor. She was very helpful and supportive throughout my educational career. Unlike many professors she knew my name and always asked me how things were going. She is the epitomy of an excellent teacher.
