Comment:

She is the nicest lady and a really great teacher. She's an expert on the subject of children's lit and she can definately clear up any questions. She is to determined to have the students do well that she allows them to rewrite every paper as many times as it takes for them to get an A. I definately reccomend!

Comment:

Nice & knowledgeable lady. Class could get boring but occasionally the topics are cool. This class opened my mind. You do alot of in-class activities and she lets you bring in a snack & drink every week. There's a lot of reading and a decent amount of work but most of it is really easy. It's an easy A.

Comment:

I had Masha as an undergrad for Childhood Literacy. Our ENTIRE class was amazingly bored by the 2 1/2 hour lectures that were always structured the same, and overwhelmed by the LOADS of homework given each week. She is boring and unclear, yet not willing to compromise or explain herself! Avoid if possible!

She is a brilliant and thoughtful professor. she goes to great lengths to ensure a secure classroom environment and allows her students to fully explore the course material without limitations. She is one of the best professors around.
