Dont take robotics!! Very few practice questions. His lectures are not good and very confusing. The tutorials are not good as well. The labs do not complement the course well. Final exam was the hardest ever.

One of the poorly taught courses. He spits while he speaks and also shouts at students. If you enjoy being confused, demoralized, stressed out, and learning absolutely nothing, then register for this course by him.

Comment:

One of the best proffs with excellent knowledge of concepts. People might find him too hard or dislike him but that is only because the course content and project is hard, as building a microprocessor is never easy. You need to have clear understanding of development tools from the prerequisite course. Otherwise a very inspirational proff.

Final project and exam are very hard but he makes sure you have the help you need. Takes time to learn everyones name and is willing to help you at anytime. Hes a good prof but people tend to dislike him just because the material he teaches is so hard

The labs take a very long time and arent worth much so hard to find the time to do them. The project is reasonable but phase 3 is impossible because he teaches nothing about vhdl. The course is heavily back loaded as the project doesn't start till the 6th week. Labs and lectures seem like two different classes. horrible experience

I wouldn't recommend taking any course with Moussa. He doesn't seem to understand the topics he teaches. If you ask a question, he yells at you. He tried to cut every corner in order for him to do less work and will lie to his students to make you do something he wants. He is the least inspirational prof I have ever encountered at UoG.

Literally taught nothing about robotics. Robots were down, so we had some stupid Vrep simulatior labs where the TA doesnt even teach you the language. Tests are either copy and paste from previous years or something we've never seen before. The midterm may be easy but the final is always messed up. Cushion your grades while you can.

There are 5 labs and 1 project. The labs take a very long time so I would recommend starting them as soon as you can. The project is comprised of 3 phases, phase 1 and 2 are easy, but phase 3 is very difficult. The course is heavily back loaded as the project doesn't start till the 6th week. The prof got all the lectures across well.

Makes the course harder than it should be. Wants to fail the students on purpose. Does not want the class average to be over 55% ever. Hard to ask questions to. Yells at people who go to his office to ask questions. Does not know anything about VHDL. Tha labs and the lectures seem two different courses. The class teaches nothing about VHDL

Very difficult to speak to one on one and has a very confrontational attitude. Attempts to challenge students but in reality just frustrates them. Useless to see in his office and lectures are good to sleep.

Awful. By far the worst prof at the school of engineering. Worst prof in history of education possibly? Why is he still employed? He yells at students who see him in his office. Makes silly exams. He could not teach to save his life. His teaching is composed of yelling. Most sleep in his class or dont come.

This past semester he actually gave us an exam we could handle unlike previous ones I've heard. GO TO HIS LECTURES. But it's true that he only knows the book and nothing else. Our final project was done using VHDL and he doesn't even know how to use it.
