Comment:

I have had her for a few classes, and she is by far my favourite teacher at douglas. She is always available for extra help, in class or after. Her marking scheme is FAIR if you follow what you're supposed to do. Learn how to write a strong thesis and you're good to go. Great teacher. Just stay on top of your work and you'll be fine.

Meg is a great teacher.Noot only is her class intresting, she is very fair with her assignments. Not overloading the students with too much homwork. She is extremly helpful with assignments but a hard marker, so see her before the due date. Take a calss with Meg.

This class was a complete joke. She went over the same thing every day, but did attendance so you had to show up. Her assignments were all theme based, and she taught the class with a political agenda. If I had wanted to take a woman's rights class, I would have taken one and not an English class.

Meg turned out to be pretty awesome. Talking to others in the class, we thought she was very fair with marking (contrary to what it says here). She always has essays back by the next class with tons of useful comments on them. She's very helpful if you go see her with drafts before they're due. Very personable as well. I'd take her again.

If you have a hard time writing about things you don't have the least bit of interest in, DON'T TAKE HER COURSE. She makes you write about things she likes, even if they are completely irrelevant to your program. Her course is the only one I have EVER dropped, and I got As on my last 5 English courses.

Meg was great! She really taught me a lot and was always available for extra help. She does expect a lot of her students so don't think you can breeze through without hard work. If you feel she is a hard marker you should really look at her comments and take them into account.I would take another Eng class just for her even though I dont need it.

If you don't dig knights, maidens, courtly love and chivalry, DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS! TAKE ANOTHER 2nd YEAR ENGLISH because it will kill your GPA. You will need an interest in these subjects or remain resilient through your homework. Hard marker. Know your readings well! But she's super nice and sweet. Friendly but course content is boring to me.

She is an extremely hard marker, talks alot and very picky too. Be prepared to write tons of summaries and she does not give enough time to write an essay. I am not sure how I passed the class, coz I definately thought I would fail. If you plan to take her class....GOOD LUCK!!
