Dr. Green is such a sweet man! His class is very hard though. Not many grades, besides really hard tests. Allows you to use front and back of 5x8 index card for tests. He's passionate about his class, and cares about students. He always tells funny stories in class. I will miss having him as a professor.

Dr. Green is very knowledgeable about the subject, always enjoyed his stories and examples. He teaches the old school way where you read the entire textbook and need to understand lecture material. Allows use of a 5x8 index card for tests. Tests and class overall are harder than most others taken at UNCC. Available during office hours and by email.

Dr. Green made me enjoy this class so much! He calls himself a Nomadic Lecturer, and he is exactly correct! He is hilarious, gives so many examples that really stick in your head for tests, and just has a good time but still teaches you what you need to know about children. I would take a class by him again in a heartbeat!

Dr. Green is very knowledgeable and provides relevant examples from life that make the material more concrete. The course isn't easy, but it is interesting. Pay attention, take good notes, make sure you read the book, and do the practice tests. He provides lots of extra credit to students who come to class. Great professor!

Green is an interesting and nice man. He knows his material and has great stories and examples. The class is difficult because you learn what he teaches in class AND what's in the book. Take advantage of the index card for tests and read your textbook. He's a great teacher, but be prepared for a class that's harder than most at UNCC.

Green is awesome. His exams are challenging but if you pay attention to class and actually read the textbook you shouldn't have a problem. He is always available to help if you need him. Hilarious stories and always keeps me engaged at 9:30 (and I am no morning person). I look forward to this class.

He's hard. You'll learn how to study for sure. Go to class, read the chapters. Don't drop the class you'll make it, and he will help you. He's funny and keeps it interesting. Don't expect and easy class because it's not. But you will learn so much. College is not supposed to be easy.

Dr. Green is very very smart and knows a lot about children and about the teaching profession. He has great stories, but expects you to study 5 hours week. The book is so hard to read but his test follow his lectures well. Be prepared for 10 observation hours and a case study.

Dr. Green is very knowledgeable about child development. His lectures are very interesting, and his tests are very challenging. You absolutely need to have the book because the course requires you to read the entire thing. If you want to learn a lot about child development, take his class. Be prepared to work hard.

The class is challenging, as were the exams. I never missed a class and made a solid B in the course. Dr. Green is nice, however, not very approachable. I felt intimidated by him, and never felt comfortable asking him questions. Overall, the class is okay, and you will learn a lot. If at all possible, take Dr. Piel because I heard that he is a litt

Watch for mechanical errors on your case study. He is my favorite professor. I leanred a lot in his class and his tests were easy, so long as you keep up with notes and the text. The case study was easy too, just make sure you do not procrastinate.

Dr. Green is super nice and his class is very interesting. I expected his test to be difficult and they definitely were. But if you attend class and read the text you should be okay. The case study was a huge task and not at all enjoyable. He is a strict grader and loves to take points off for COMMAS. Seriously.

He lets you know exactly what to expect on the tests. You have to come to class and do the readings, but if you do you're set. Grading on the case study was harsh. Do it with effort.. and watch your grammar.. seriously. Commas really get you.

I was so worried about this class because of what everyone had said about his tests. I am taking him now and I think his tests are completely fair. If you're in class and you do the readings, you're set! Now, I haven't handed in the case study yet and that is the BIGGEST part of the grade, but I honestly think it will all be okay. He is very helpful and easy to get along with. If you have any questions and email him, he answers right away. You will learn a lot in his class.

He certainly knows his stuff. But he definitely makes you feel stupid for asking questions. Didn't feel the tests were fair. It seemed like he would try to make them as tricky as possible, rather than just test you on your knowledge. Case Study is a huge project--don't procrastinate.
