Very funny adn intelligent teacher, really wants his students to understand the material.If you are a "pretty" girl, you will be favored in his class, guys and girls who are not "pretty" rarely get called on.He picks favorites from the first day of class. I absolutely love his class though and am never bored. I would recommend him, but do the work!

McShane is amazing. He demands a lot from you, but he is always very willing to help. It's almost impossible to get an A in the class but B's are very doable and you learn so much. He's funny and an absolute genius. I would take him again in a heart beat.

i love this guy... one of my favorite teachers ever. he's absolutely hilarious. i was not bored for a minute in class all semester. it's so obvious he loves teaching and philosophy, and he makes it interesting. he realizes philosophy isn't everyone's thing and grades fairly. definitely recommend taking him... you'll learn so much.
