I thought the course was called visual approach to DESIGN and communication, not drafting? she only give marks base on how well you draft. word of advice: creativity means nothing to her, so you might as well just do something easy.

Michelle is a twit. If you are artistic by nature she will make you cringe as you slice through her BS. If you are terrible at design then stop whining as this woman will give you an 80 anyways. Definatly an indication of the BS planning has instore for you, dear artists.

I really like Michelle. I don't have an arts background at all, and she made drawing easy for me. She doesn't like to answer questions much because she wants to "leave it to your creativity" which gets a bit irritating sometimes. Overall, a good prof.

Another planning class that serves as nothing more than a headache. For those serious about design, fine arts, etc, NOT the whiney babies who were rejected from architechture because they lack culture and creativity, this class will make you hate your life. You learn more from intro. high school art classes than this. Terrible. Easy (dep. TAs).

Initially hated her, warmed up to her at the end. I have only a moderate background in arts but I was already questioning a lot of her instruction and "critique." I do wish she had provided more instruction in specific drafting techniques BEFORE large projects rather than point it out after. Somewhat smugly superior.

I took this in my first year and hated it. As someone with a deep fine arts background this class was apalling. Not only does Michelle know absolutely nothing, but she gives obscene amounts of credit to TRITE students with their TRITE projects. 210 is much better.

Nice prof, but the workload is OVERWHELMING. Should use the class time to teach techniques beforehand rather than spending so much time telling us what we did wrong after its done. All in all though, marks very fairly for first year.

Knows what she's doing, but doesn't teach it well. Puts up a lot of pointless overheads which are exact copies of the textbook and doesn't spend much time explaining techniques. Lectures are very boring. Very fair marker for first year though.
