Not a bad guy on a personal level. Gives an insane amount of work. Spare me the "it's college" lecture, this guy is over the top. Assigns vague questions that can't be found in the book, the power-points, the handouts, or the first 5 pages of a google search. The class is 1/5th my credit workload but I probably spend 3/5ths my time working on it.

took ocean science, instruments, fresh water ecosystems, and biogeochemistry with him. honestly he's a nice guy but he gives out way too much work. labs are excessively long and classes are writing intensive. And due dates are non-negotiable.

Anyone that knocks professor Case as a teacher is crazy. Yes, he makes you work for your grade, but it's not impossible to get a 4.0. I got one! Oh and I'm a girl, so he apparently does value my opinion and take me seriously!! Push comes to shove, be attentive, do the assignments, answer questions, participate in classes/labs, and you'll get a 4.0.

TERRIBLE. tests are near impossible. not to mention he grades at an unreasonably difficult level. this was just a gen ed class for me & i had to devote my life to this class just to hang on by my teeth. definitely does NOT value a girl's opinion in the class.

Wow, this class is awful. He basically told one girl in my class on her labs & tests that she "clearly had no idea what she was doing." The classes are painful & labs are so long & he hates helping you out. He does know what he's talking about, but he puts me to sleep doing it. & By the way, the tests are impossible.
