Not a bad guy, just cant explain things clearly. If he takes language and teaching lessons, that could help. The homework take too much time. Exams are too long, but anyway, he always tries to explain the subjuct as clearly as he can

Thick Russian accent; you'll need to get used to it. Notes are ALL written on the board, so you won't miss anything critical if you show up everyday. The problem is that he can't really answer your questions, so you have to either get it all as he says it, or stare at your notes for a long time.

WORST PROFESSOR IN UD!!! I HAVE TO RETAKE HIS CLASS BECAUSE OF HIS TESTS THE MAN WROTE MORE STUFF ON THE BOARD IN A TWO HOUR CLASS THEN I COULD HANDLE IN A WEEK! HE ALSO HAS AN ATTIUDE ABOUT BEING A POOR STUDENT. He would always mumble when hand tests.

Absolutely the worst math professor, I've ever had in my life. He goes overboard in trying to make the course as hard as he can. Its almost like he hates all students. His homeworks take days to do and are extemely hard. Dont take him. Hope he gets fired

quite possible the worst math professor I have ever had. I've had hard professors before but this man can't teach. I learn more from the TA then I do trying to decipher what the heck he says. Class averages on tests were low C to D. Avoid at all costs!

AVOID at ALL costs!!! First half the year I had and A, second half my average was a 50. Homeworks take around 7 hrs. Tests are immpossible even if you know the material. Doesn't answer questions.

Questions? Curves? Forget them both. I'd say avoid the class, but then again, no one takes Discrete Math for fun or because they want to. Not clear in lectures - lot of writing - hard to understand and a different teaching style.

Forget about asking him questions - you will be made fun of. His lectures are exactly that - lecture only - no questions (although he encourages it). But his board writing is extremely organized (more like a book). Avoid if you can,unless ur a computer.
