Go through the previous papers and you've credits in hand. Has great knowledge but focuses a lot on derivations which aren't necessary.

The entire class in broken down into 2 midterms, and one final. He grades incredibly harshly and is absolutely ususeless when you go to him for help. There were several problems on the midterm where I showed all of the right steps but had a computational error at the very end, minus 12 out of 20. This guy is horrible.

If you expect a professor to give practice exams, speak clearly, and makes lectures enjoyable, you are taking the wrong professor. 2 exams worth 30% each, 5 questions @20pts each per exam. SMALL MISTAKES are costly. Office hours showed me that Zoroofchi will sometimes forget how he worked through his own solutions. Really would not recommend.

I received a C grade and so did my roommate! Every student told it's easy to score a good grade under him, but I had to take a different core course because of it. Just because I was ill during one of my midterms, I got a low on total score and resulted in a C. Never take professors for granted! Work hard!

This dude is cryptic and talks real soft, but knows his circuits. Grades based off quizzes and test performance only. Definitely recommend taking another professor for better clarity and fairer grading on the subject.

His midterms are extremely hard; the class average is around 50 for both midterms. He gives weekly quizzes that are not that hard yet the class average is around 5/10. His lectures are very straightforward and he has very nice handwriting. Sit in the front of the class as he's very quiet. He assigns but does not collect homework.

He is monotonic. Exams are extremely hard. He wouldn't stop at anything to complete the syllabus required for the semester. Just be prepared with 122 concepts and be ready for the challenge. If he doesn't feel that you are giving enough effort for the class, he wont hesitate to give an F.

Very quiet so its hard to hear. Clear on what he expects from his students. Doesn't collect homework but you must do it to learn. I found his notes to be a little useless and all I did was review the homework. Very do-able class. Just study for the quizes and tests, but if you haven't learned that at this point, what are you doing in engineering?

HW won't be collected. He is gentle and helpful. Very neat notes and clear lecture. Use slides for examples which are in the required textbook. His EE124 is very helpful for those who intends to major in analog. Overall, he is excellent. I hope every professor teaches like the way he does.

Very good professor, does a good job. material is just very hard. Very friendly if you go to his office hours to ask for help. I got a B+ even tho i had a C in 122. go to office hours is a must if you struggle. Keep asking the question if his answer doesn't make sense cause eventually he will say it in a way that will be understandable to you.

He is an excellent, prepared, organized, nice and clear teacher. Lectures are usually interesting, homewors can be challenging, tests are generally feasible. He helps you during his office hours if you have questions. He points out issues related to the industry. He is the master.

He is clear, if you can hear him. His lecture style is to copy a sheaf of notes, verbatim, onto the board. Although the homework problems come from the textbook, use the text only as a backup to the excellent lecture notes by Prof. Fung. Exam problems look like Fung examples. Z not much help to individuals, but straightforward.

Zoroofchi is one of the best professor I have taken at SJSU. Its just sad to say that LAB accounts for 25% of the TOTAL class grade. He is very fair; you learn a lot from him. I recommend going to office hours; he solves the problems until you understand the concepts. Very organized and businesslike (prompt).

Difficult class because what? because Zoroofchi whispers, uses different nomenclature than the text and the textbook problems have no answers in back. Makes it hard to do homework. He knows what? he knows the subject in depth. Too many arbitrary conditions and equations. I am a what? a good student but I am what? only making a B in this class :(

EE 128/122 - Very clear, straightforward, good examples; He's a very nice & helpful professor. I'd say he's one of the best professors I've ever met in the EE department. Old tests/quizzes are very helpful. Try to keep up with all assignments! If you are near failing/behind in any of his classes, keep trying & catch up by finals! It worked for me!
