Very mixed emotions about this one. I don't think I would have taken the class had I know how much writing there would be, it's basically writing intensive even though it's not listed as so. Smart prof, but vague sometimes on what she wants. Lots of work, as mentioned. It was interesting, but I didn't do very well.

While she is fun and interesting in class, she is almost impossible to please. Also, she chooses favorites early in the semester so if you want an A, you better kiss some azz the first few weeks. Took her for Gender & Social Psy. She's funny but her lectures are extremely boring. Her "tests" and quizzes are short essay but your answer is never right even though the questions she asks may have more than one answer. I don't recommend this class for ppl who don't like to write or who want to make an easy A. Won't happen.

Anyone, I mean anyone, that has a problem with Wisely has no idea what college is about. This THE BEST sociology professor at SFA. Most of her assignments are in a group, and she doesn't belive in "exams". What more do you want?

Horrible class! Irresponsible for instructor to advise girls to consider NOT getting medical intervention for their childbirths!!! She believes men have taken over medicine and women have been having babies successfully for thousands of years.
