Nanette is kind, helpful, and overall just a total joy. She's sweet, a fascinating person (highly respected musician, loves the classics (obviously)), and brings food to class. Even if a grade seemed harsh on a paper, the feedback was always really valuable and we could talk it over. Sometimes directions are unclear; ask her and she'll clarify.

incredible person and professor. the kind you are lucky to have once in a lifetime. take every class you can with her. she is amazingly helpful and will drop everything to make sure you understand what you need help with, including general academic advice.

I LOVE HER. I love her so much and you will too, and she will love you back. You'll work hard just to live up to the student she thinks you are, and in the process, you become that student for real. If you're having a problem, you can talk to her. She won't go easy on you gradewise, because this is Mac, but she goes above & beyond for her students.

Nanette is a wonderful teacher, and one of the nicest people ever. She is very passionate about her subject and is always willing to help. Her classes are challenging, but completely doable, as long as you work. As my professor, she went up and above the call of duty in order to help me. Nanette is by far my favorite professor thus far.
