Comment:

I feel like I learned nothing in this class, and instead receive way to many assignments from the textbook. This class is filled with busy work, and although the work is not hard it's time consuming, and annoying. There is a quiz once a week, and they aren't that hard. The lectures are extremely boring, but it is not hard to get a good grade.

Comment:

There is a MASSIVE amount of work, even for a 300 level course, which includes papers and quizzes (both due weekly) and two presentations, but as long as you actually put effort into studying and doing the assignments he grades leniently. I don't think I'd take him again but the class is definitely still do-able. I think he's a bit misunderstood.

Says he's a perfectionist but really he is a hypocrit. No feedback, he doesn't go by the syllabus but does not say what he changes. No Internet use besides brief emails about class cancellations. He can mark you a perfect grade one week and the next give you a 0 with no change on your part. Presentations, papers, homework, quizzes every week. AVOID

Quite possibly the worst professor i have ever taken. The man gives ridiculously hard quizzes just about every class, the amount of homework due for the class is absurd...to the point where you pull an all nighter just to complete a homework assignment..avoid at all costs

such a boring class, but really easy. he cancels class all the time. quizzes are actually hard but with the plan and the online quizzes, presentations, and book questions, you're grade will be fine. he also cancelled like 4 classes. i'm glad i took him because i think i got a good grade and it was really easy (but thinks its hard!)

He teaches a very boring class, yet if you do the work you'll end up with a good grade. He's very unorganized but he started putting the tests and quizzes online with enough time to look up the answers in the book. Canceled about 4 classes.

Good teacher. His notes are somewhat useless as the quizzes are based directly on the textbook. Have to write a paper and do 2 group presentations based on case studies. Homework due for each chapter which he collects but doesn't really grade. Fairly lax grader, just go to class and do your work. He's also pretty funny.

Good teacher. Nice and funny. He says at the beginning that the quizzes are unannounced, but he does announce them the class before. There's a MC quiz for each chapter and exams that are based on the quizzes, except for the final which is essays. Has business experience and shares it with the class. Overall a good teacher.

pretty easy class but so boring. he lectures the entire class, and every student must participate in every class- he marks it down! 12 quizzes which are stupid but you should study for, its all memorization. The midterm isn't too bad, and the final is a couple of essays that are not too hard either. Just participate A LOT

Professor Nah gives a great deal of work, I'm not gonna lie. At least once a week, there is hw questions due out of the textbook, however, he doesn't say when it is due. Also there are 12 unannounced quizzes, which require some studying. 10-12 page paper as well, which he gives no direction on.

Professor Nash is a nice professor. Gives 12 quizzes that are right from notes - study notes and it's fine. He just lectures, says "mm ok" A LOT. Not a lot of work, although he expects you to read and do the questions for each chapter- sometimes collected. Multiple choice midterm- hard. subjective final.

Good class, "unannounced" quizzes directly from his notes that he e-mails you, midterm, final, 8-10 pg paper, and small group project. Funny guy, brings in a lot of outside business information in the class from both current events and his experience as an owner of an investment firm. Enjoyable (even at 8am)...I would take the class.

he is terrible he jsut talks the whole time and is a **** if you come in late. the material is all common sense about relating to people in the buisness world,for instance "in order to make your empolyees trust you dont lie to them" but that stuff isnt on his tests he had rediculous definitions on them.

the finest man to grace the earth, what mickey mantle was to the yankess nash is to the business department of marist. snazzy dresser, initials on cuffs, funniest sayings and stories, you'll laugh all class, gives typed notes, only asks that you have the ability to read them when called on, a few papers, easy quizzes, "can you walk the talk" GREAT

Not a fan of him. His 8 AM class was miserable since he forces people to give their thoughts on topics you might know nothing about and all you want to do it go back to sleep; very awkward class. The class is easy though.

Very nice man. Pronounces some normal words very strangely like "habitat" & "utensil" which make u laugh. 12 quizzes, comm service, presentation, 4 books, 1 book to read on ur own and write a paper on, 2 tests. Forces discussion by marking everytime u talk, easy grader though

one of my favorite teachers, i like how he teaches the class, you know exactly whats gonna be on the tests, 3 tests, research paper, easy presentation, no homework, u never have to read, just take notes in class and study from them for the test
