He is a good professor. He is an analytical chemist and therefore he goes pretty deep into the math. He expects his students to be able to derive equations off of problems that don't quite match up with lecture material which is a bit tricky. He is fair and gives lots of partial credit and his practice exams are very similar to the real ones.

he's a good guy, means well, but he messes up a lot. he wont know how to explain something, and he'll sometimes go back to his initial equation to change something after explaining it for 15 minutes. not great in math, so the math parts of chemistry are really unclear. he knows his stuff for the most part though. i want dr woolridge again.

Chemistry is difficult in general, but if you practice the problems he gives you in class and know them well, you will do well and you will even see them appear on exams! 4 very fair exams and the lowest in dropped.... i got a B and 3 C's on the exams and got an A- in the class.. not bad.. he is very funny without trying.. and sometimes he is a lit

The greatest chem teacher ever! I hated chem before taking his class, and now I'm thinking of changing my major to chem. He explains things really well and is always willing to help. Try to get into his class if you can.

very nice guy, helps with homework if you ask. a little shy but not bad to listen to, obviously it's not exciting cuz its chem, but he isn't annoying at all. exams are pretty hard, but he goes over everything well in class, so go even though he doesn't take attendance...

awesome guy, kinda shy at first, but if you talk to him he's really awesome. he wants you to do well, if the class average on an exam is low he'll curve it (he might not tell you he's curving it, but he really will). i got a 61, 81, and 76 on his first three tests, and he told me i got a 51 on ACS and 68 on final and i still got an A- so he curved.

the best chem professor. I hate it when he uses Dr. Galbriath's exams that is just evil. He teaches well. He uses easy examples in class so you better study examples in the text becaus the exam is a little harder. He gen chem 2 he pulled a real evil move by givin us a final that Dr. Galbraith made and i thought it was impossible so watch out

Hard but fulfilling class. Interesting accent. He's always willing to help and talk about your work. Anything you need, feel free to go to him. Make sure you put work into the class. It's a hard science, to don't expect to just slide by. Out of the 3 gen chem profs, Fitzie is the best.

Just like any chem class, chem is a difficult subject. If you go to class.. do all of the work and ask for help on things you don't understand you will do well. Start the final project early, because at the end of the term everything is hectic. def. take him. TAs are very helpful.. utilize them.
