She knows what she's talking about, and totally willing to help you out if you're willing to ask for it. But class participation is an absolute must (she'll force you!), as is completing all of the required readings. Not an easy or relaxing class, but you can do well if you're willing to work for it.

She is a very fair and approachable teacher. You just have to work for your marks and for somepeople that is hard to believe. You get what you deserve. Her course is interesting and very engaging.

I wanted to like the class, I wanted to like her. But she gets frustrated easily, and makes the class seem like highschool. If you get up to leave she'll call you out on it. Hello! We pay to be here. Fairly hard marker on essays too, make sure to fully cite or she'l hand out zeros like nothing.

Professor Jasen is a strightforward teacher...she tells you what she wants, you just have to deliver in order to get the marks. I learned so much in her fourth year class...she is a truly brilliant teacher!
