The online class was bland and we only received 15 minute webcasts/podcasts as instruction per "unit" of work. Conversation was stunted (basically summaries), topics were bland and disinteresting. This class had the opportunity to be more engaging at a grad level but fell seriously short. She just didn't care and it was obvious.

condescending;not constructive;egotistical; She needs to learn that it's possible to offer feedback and constructive critism without being nasty. The emails she sent to the class as a whole were so unbelievably horrid that I had to share them with people I knew!

Definitely smart and knowledgable in PR, but she thinks she's a queen. Her conceited attitude ruined her class for me, which is too bad because her assignments were so interesting. If snotty people bother you stay away from this prof.

She made ethics so much fun. Her assignments are very open ended which is overwhelming but in the end she just wants to see what you do on your own. Debates and discussions. For some reason one class got the arrogent version of her and my class got the pleasent side. Choose wisely.

Took several courses with Patty - she really does know her stuff - a very intelligent woman. However, very pompous and does tend to speak about her son and husband excessively - her son even taught a class of ours once! PUH-lease! It's a shame because that really detracts from how much you learn from her...
