i really really really didn't like having her as a teacher...it seemed like she had no interest in being there at all, i don't remember learning anything all that valuable, will never take one of her classes ever again, plus she randomly dissapeared so classes have been a bit of a scramble and right now no one really knows what's going on

Well, I'm in the midst of Intro to Psych and I'm lost...first she teaches really well and I'm learning alot...the tests are hard, but what do you expect...next thing I know, she's gone and were getting a new teacher every week..she completely screwed us over...our tests are basically cancelled..who knows how the mid term will be,let alone the final

The class was very interesting and the teacher was awesome but very unreliable. Did not show up for class on several occasions and she just disappeared after christmas and did not come back--we did not have a prof for 5 weeks after that! She still hasn't returned and we have a replacement now!! Quite disappointing:(

I think Dr Ross is an awesome professor. She is very friendly and helpful. She also makes much of what she teaches quite interesting. Personally, I really do not understand how anyone could possibly say anything bad about her. Unless, of course you fail her class, but if you read your chapters, do your homework, and ask questions you can't fail

For those who complain about this prof, what didn't you do? Patricia was one of the most demanding profs I had, hardest, and most challenging. I learned more from this prof than all others put together! If you find poor ratings for Patricia, chalk it up to students who wanted a free ride, and couldn't pull one over on her! She's the BEST!!!

I think she is absolutely stupid. It seems as though everything she's learned is just out of the book, like she doesn't completely know what she's talking about. Not only that but she's never at class. Good thing is you can pass the class without ever going, just read the book.

The teacher was very unorganized and absent alot of the time. She bailed on the class 2 weeks before the final exam, cancelling tests, assignments and providing NO exam review. Dont get the wrong impression...her exam was still very difficult despite the many screw ups. Nobody in the class was impressed at all..I would not suggest the class!

She is GREAT! She's got a great sense of humour; really knows her stuff; lectures are clear and interesting; and we always have the best class discussions! Apparently our class is the best she's ever had. ;) woo! Its 3rd year: you can't get away without reading your text, taking good notes, and studying. Just do that and you'll be fine!

Awesome teacher! don't know what everyone else is whining about....clear, fair midterms and finals and very helpful out of class. She is approachable, not intimidating and cracks a few jokes during class! Stellar prof!

She lacks student empathy...has preexisiting biases of students capeablitilities that are unfair and simply not tenable. She does not deserve a popular teacher rating until she addresses the issues above. Truthfully and with Integrity. Dr. Ross needs more skills that pertain to flexibility as a teacher.

Her tests are tough. You have to LISTEN in class, read the text REALLY well, and think about it. Notes are important: don't stop writing when she finishes a definition. However, she REALLY knows her stuff and knows how to teach it. Take her class if you want to LEARN!! Oh, she's a MAJOR hottie too!!

I absolutely loved her class. I would recommend it for any 1st year student. She explains everything so clearly, using life examples, and her lectures are always on topic and packed chock full of good stuff! I'm not a psych major but I considered it after her class!
