Ranks in the top tier of American history teachers of all time. An incredible expert in all aspects of American political history but especially on the history of the American Presidency. Funny. Entertaining. Full of amazing facts. Tough grader. But very clear about standards. Intense student preparation makes the class easy.

This guy is amazing!! You will never find another prof who knows more about the Presidents of the US than this man! His lectures are fascinating -- but the tests are tough, but pay attention and you'll do fine. I made an A, and it wasn't easy, but it was fun.

I was warned by a previous generation Baylorite that he tested tough. I took his course anyway and made a B. The next semester I made a C. He is a great lecturer, but don't count on the lecture and test having the same content.
