Worst teacher ever! You won't learn anything, except maybe how fast his daughter can read a book. He stresses the importance of Finance in everday life yet he doesn't know how to teach it. There's no other finance teachers so good luck.

Run screaming in the opposite direction. Unhelpful, made me wait 45 mins at his office downtown for help. No on-campus help, its ridiculous. Everyone fails everything, grades are totally bogus. Take this class at a community college elsewhere, JMUs finance class for non-business majors is a complete waste of time/money. You learn NOTHING.

Nice guy and really understanding but the class is complete BS. Problems on tests are nothing like ones in the text. Avg. grade for the final was a 48. It is obvious that he shouldn't be teaching and that JMU just needed someone to fill in to teach this class for non-finance majors.

Well, I got a B in the class, but that's certainly not because of the 43 I got on the final. He expects you to read the text and teach yourself, and the lecture is for him to talk about the stock market. If you have to take the class, definitely don't take it during the 3 hour night class.

He is the worst professor I have ever had at JMU. He had no idea how to teach, and didn't figure out the reason the average grade for each test was in the F-rang was because he never taught what he tested. Treated the class like a Freshman class.

TERRIBLE!!! Avoid at all costs. Always late, disorganized, lazy, etc. May be a nice guy in his real CPA job but DEF not cut our for teaching. You have to try to teach yourself everything and it's very unmotivating to have a teacher who doesnt care to help
