This class would be so much better if he talked about culture in general and not just about the BaMbuti and the Bantu tribes. He is very irritable, he thinks everyone else is stupid.. has a very difficult time making eye contact and has no people skills.. stares at the ceiling whenever he lectures, and doesn't even say good morning..

Honestly, he may be boring, but what he talks about (past cultures, such as the Han Dynasty and the Huron) is really interesting. His exam was straightforward.He is very clear when he talks, he even puts main concepts on the board before and while he talks. Just read everything and show up to class, yes it's a must.

DON'T take his class!!!! His teaching method is VERY POOR. He comes in the class & just starts talking, not even goodmorning or an introduction on what his topic is about. He just looks down on his paper and just talkkkkkk & his lectures are VERY boring. He is not approachable and has an attitude problem. His test are hard. U cant miss class.

This man, though very knowledgable in his field, is absolutely unwilling to answer questions or help students. He is not opposed to answering with snide remarks and demeaning comments. Definately not a people person nor does he ever make eye contact with students during lectures.

I loved Reid so much. Seriously, his classes were a little dry, but easy exams and he's SUCH a nice guy! Plus, he has very nice running shoes.

Prof Reid hates dumb people. Class is for lectures, and he will drop a lot of jokes. He LOVES when people come to visit him, and will open up after you talk to him a few times. I hated the man my first class, and now I'm excited to take my third with him.

He will NOT acknowledge anyone with their hand up with a question EVER! (class doesn't get bogged down by stupid questions); he's usually the very first person out of the room(nwwt). And to top everything off his exams have 22 multiple choice questions on them (quick and easy, if you know your stuff you pass.. if you don't you fail, just like life)

although he seems to be an incredible intelligent man, some people just aren't cut out for teaching.. seems somewhat uncomfortable infront of the class (makes no eye contact.. ever), doesnt seem to be overly passionate about what he's saying, but maybe he's shy? tests were brutal.. not my favourite
