Doesnt not teach what is in the book, basically teaches you how he would have written the book, quizzes and exams are a joke! He Expects students to know as much as he does when its a basic prerequisite class.

This guy is the greatest teacher I've ever had. If you're looking for an easy walk through, than your in the wrong class. I took his class a year and a half ago and spent hours after class in his office helping to better understand the information. He is willing to do whatever it takes to help you succeed as long as you are willing to. Good Luck!

Dr. Susan is a great professor. He really knows his stuff, and he genuinely wants his students to learn. You can't just memorize A&P information and expect to remember it all, so he's big on conceptual learning. If you do the work, you will be fine! He's a super generous grader in both LEC and LAB. He's also available for office hours.

If you like powerpoints than take another teacher, he goes over the course objectives. Quizzes were given every day but you'll read if you study the notes from the last class. For tests, he gives the quizzes back with the right answers to study and they really help! I would take him again! His grading is very generous!

Dr. Susan knows his stuff. His lectures seem very long but he goes into a lot of detail which for me was awesome! He's very organized, meaning he gives you a schedule and sticks to it! We had quizzes every day, as long as you study what he went over the last class you'll be ready. Notetaking and listening are very important!

There are quizzes almost everyday, as long as you study the list he gives you then you should be fine! Study every night! He seems harsh on grading at first by all the red on the quizzes but hes actually extremely generous with grading. Most prof will count wrong by a simple mistake, but he actually will give you credit. Would take again!

Gives lecture and then tests you on it immediately so make sure you pay attention and take notes! Gives a pretty decent curve though. Probably the hardest class ive taken yet.

Difficult class, he does the best he can compressing all of the information he can into a 7 week format. Quiz (or multiple) every class, usually about 50 questions each, grades on a curve (loved this!) Clear assignments and very structured class schedule. He really makes sure you are prepared for the final, his tests made it feel like a breeze!

His class is not easy, but he very much cares about his students passing and if you put in the time you will be fine. With his class being difficult, it means you need to learn, and you will be better prepared for subsequent classes built on the material.

He is by far the worst professor I've ever had , you pretty much teach yourself all the material because he's not good at explaining and also makes up his own definition of things so if you have a quiz he wants you to know his definition and he does not go off the book at all . He says the book is completely wrong and that we should learn his way.

This is the WORST professor I have ever had. If you have the option to take ANYONE else, I STRONGLY recommend it. I had him for Bio 210 Lab and we did 1 lab the entire semester. He encourages you to drop the class from day 1 all the way to W day. He goes on tangents about things that aren't relevant, then expects you to teach yourself the material.

Wow! He is the best professor I have ever had hands down. I am currently taking his acclelerated 4.5 week class and I am in love. Yes, the class is difficult but you enjoy it as long as you put the work in. I wish I could take this class over and over. He drops 4 quiz grades and gives bonuses on tests. If you want to be in medicine take his class.

Dr. Susan is by far one of the best professors I've ever had. He teaches you to learn conceptually and not memorize everything. If you are wanting to go into the medical field, then take his class! You have to work, but you will learn a lot. I took his accelerated 4.5 week course and it was challenging. Study and you will learn SO much! Wonderful!

If you have a life DO NOT take this class. He expects people to study 5 hours a day an I have a job. Also his lectures arw very extensive and he relies on Pre knowledge of topics and skips over some things. Also he speaks loudly monotone then whispers and you cannot hear sometimes. I will never want this class again. Good luck #attendance counts

Dr. Susan is hands down one of the best professors at TTC. If your truly interested in the medical field TAKE HIS CLASS. No he is not the easy A professor, but if you really want to learn he'll teach you and the best part about him is he truly cares and will spend as much time with you outside of class as you need you just have to ask and GO!

The way Dr Susan teaches is marvelous! "Teaching concepts not definitions." His class is not to be taken lightly, but if u listen and pay attention you will actually learn and develop a deeper understanding of Anatomy. Would reccomend to anyone who is willing to work and learn.

A professor that loves to show students how smart he is. Needs to remember 210 is a basic biology course, not G.H.A at Johns Hopkins. It's called undergraduate school for a reason. Plan on teaching yourself the material everynight and forget about taking anything else remotely difficult bc he requires 75% of your time.

He does too much talking & not enough demonstration to go with his explanation. His one on one help DEFINITELY made a difference & I was able to decipher his rambling that he does in lecture. Passed his lab with flying colors, but he needs to simply & slow down his lecture and focus on EVERYBODY'S style of learning and not just his.

Dr. Susan is definitely an outstanding teacher. I had him for my Bio 210 in Spring and what everyone else says is true, he teaches concepts and not definitions. My only complaint is that he does teach at higher level than where you're at in the class so I was lost for a while but if you study and read the material, it should be smooth sailing.
