Pev is easy to understand, he goes over anything that you need to know so the class is pretty straight forward. Some of the lectures are unnecessary but the majority are pretty good. His tests are pretty easy with key terms and essays over his main topics in lecture.

He is very educated but was hard for me to talk to. I always had to follow the chain of commandment in his class...and I hated that. It was probably hard for me to hear in the upper deck, but I wasn't exactly paying much attention either.

He would actually reference how boring the material was. Peverill is an extremely intelligent man; he was just teaching a class that couldn't be made interesting. He did nothing to make the class less monotonous.

Its simple friends, don't take American Politics. The lectures are boring and pointless to go to (unless you enjoy dozens of charts and graphs). 50% of your grade comprehensive final. Some TA's prep there students (others grade like a hard ass).
