I enjoyed the class and the teachers. It was very interesting and I learned a lot. The only complaint is that the teachers put up with too much of the immaturity of the young students. Some of the students should have been kicked out of class for their language, attitude and interruptions. They were not serious students and it hampered the other

Music appreciation, he teaches with McManus. He is the nicer and more lenient teacher. BORING class, but you can not listen the whole semester and cram on the last day and get an A. Alot of online discussions, have to do those because they are 5pts each. Over all. Very each class, but a decent amount of work and effort put in.

When i came to Ohlone i thought i was an awesome trombone player. I wasnt then, but thanks to Phil, now i can really play the trombone, the trumpet, percussion, piano, and the saxophone. He is an amazing teacher, a great friend, he has a real passion for what hes doing and hes inspiring to aspiring musicians.

phil is a great guy. you go to piano and work on stuff individually in class, he walks around and listens to each person seperatly, and then helps and gives praise and improvements. good piano teacher, set up like any piano class
