Philip is a nice guy, maybe not the best professor. He clearly knows his stuff but doesn't convey it the best. It felt like he used fillers a lot in the class, talking about things that weren't very relevant or helpful to meet the hour quota. He does give good feedback on assignments,

Phillip is an all around great guy who is very personable once you get to know him. Although he takes frequent pauses when he lectures to view the classes reaction (or something), I find I always come away learning something interesting. Fantastic guy!

He's a good prof who knows what he's doing and what he's talking about. He doesn't give dates for assignments, but they're not super hard. He let us chose our groups for the group project which was nice. He's good to go to if you have questions about the journalism department. Not so great at responding to emails though.

Philip is a nice guy but doesn't know how to teach. I found it very difficult to stay awake in his classes and it was hard to join the conversation when he always picks his "favourites". It seems that he knows his material but doesn't know how to teach his students what they need to learn in order to get a good mark in his class.

Could not stay awake during any of his classes. Was so boring, repeats the same lectures every class, and makes you write super long reflections about what you learned, which isn't much. He's a nice guy, just super boring.

Phil is for the most part a fairly good teacher. The only thing that drove me nuts was he would be reading something from a book that he says is important and he'll pause and then start again about three pages over. It was hard trying to keep up with the constant direction change but aside from that he was a good teacher.

Very Good prof. Easy to understand. VERY HELPFUL, he has a tendancy to pick the same people, but its cuz they actually say something! If you show interest he will notice you. Good feedback on work, Offers one on one help, very helpful

Though it is early in the year, he seems like a skilled teacher with a strong Journalism background. Seems very knowledgeable about the subject, and I expect to learn lots from him.

Philip is a great prof.I wish he knew more what i was thinking at his classes because he always went to the same people, and it did seem like he had favourites.and i think that´s silly, you don´t know anyone´s potential before you knwo their life story. But besides that,he seems to be really dedicated to his job and really moved by it.

It's suspected that Philip has favorites. I say, so what? If you show an interest and some potential, he can be one of the most valuable people in your life.

I adore Philip Lee! He is smart, philosophical, thoughtful, and will give you great marks so long as you think, ask questions and care even a little about Journalism. I am terrified of him, but believe he is a genuinely kind man who would help any of his students to the best of his ability. He is constantly trying to make us comfortable Good movies

Seems to know what he is doing but can't teach it. How many times must he run through his thining hair in class? If he could give directions in assignments without pausing to second guess himself and reassure the class that, that is the way it should be done, it would be much better.

Phillip is an interesting professor. I enjoyed his class, at times I found that class was not very helpful, but I did think that Phillip was a nice prof and very helpful. The program is new and at times I felt that he was unsure at times. But that will come with time.
