By far the worst finance prof at the University. The midterm and assignments were easy, but he screwed everyone over with the final exam. Super unapproachable.

I took Finance 2 online with him, and it was pretty good! Participation was worth 16% of the grade, so don't miss a single class. He explains everything quite well, and the exam is very easy! The exam is literally the questions he discusses in class. He's a lenient checker as well. If you have a problem, ask him!, and you're good to go!

Brutal prof who posts articleslinks and makes you teach yourself. Didn't learn a thing about Pensions the whole term. The entire class is about the "KYC" Document which he seems to be working on himself. Terrible professor , avoid at all costs.

Comment:

Sinha is a good prof, yes he has an unusual teaching style but it can be effective if you go to class regularly. Explains in detail, if you don't understand he will help you. Midterm and final we easy, gives part marks if you show work on mc. Overall great prof. Don't need the textbook, he doesn't use it.

He's a great guy, but he's teaching the course completely differently. And from what I experienced, his course material didn't match up to what he was testing. I definitely suggest just teaching yourself, going to him if you have questions, but for the most part class time is pointless.

Weird class. I got a 93% on the midterm by not paying attention to a single word he said as all he does is rant about garbage. Had to be sure to read his lesson plans for special "concept" questions. Real issue was the final; a lot of his answers were heavily rounded and didnt match the ACTUAL answers. Ended in a lot of guessing and confusion.

I found him to be very interesting and makes learning easy. Wish he would do more explaining of the math problems on the board himself instead of having students do it since I don't find that useful. But his on line content is great. always good to go to class. No assignments but weekly on line quizzes.

Awful prof, avoid at all costs. Bizarre teaching style. He lectures on documentaries in class and expects you to teach yourself the textbook content at home. Midterm will be on everything you don't discuss in class. Only advice if you get stuck with him is to ignore him and learn the math with formulas

His class is easy if u attend he try's to make you think different so you understand finance. Learn to use the calculator & get the ti30 he uses. 2 of his quizzes are open book & he counts your 3 best out of 4 2nd one is hardest. Midterm was mostly math with some questions only a couple form the videos that he has u watch keep up with these.
