Comment:

Señor Caracoza is a soft spoken and understanding instructor. He clearly explains lessons and will try to explain if you get lost in a way that's not intimidating. He's very knowledgable of the Spanish language as well as other languages. (side note: the reason why movies are part of the class is because they're part of the curriculum)

This class was a dissapointment. I took this class out of a general want to learn Spanish and Caracoza could've cared less. All we did was watch movies and it didn't matter if you did the homework. Everyone got A's just for coming to class. He was late to multiple classes and spent most of the time discussing movies. Really wish I had learned more

This instructor was OFF TRACK this spring. He missed 2 classes in the first 8 wks. & rushed through the material in last 8 weeks. Also, he was always running late. If you are a student that wants to learn Spanish, please take another instructor. He tries to be helpful, but if it wasn't for my tutor I would have not learned a thing! BEWARE!

He is a very good teacher! Although he gets side tracked sometimes, he is awesome! If you come to class and show that you are interested or need help, he is there and will work with you and your grade in his class. He definitely cares!

If you want an easy "A", this is the class. However, if you really want to learn Spanish, you will need to take the initiative. You can pass this class and still not learn much. He is very flexible, almost too flexible, and you'll get out early
