Comment:
Duchesne is a professor who wants to challenge your thought process. As someone who has taken many classes with him, you have to be open to other ideas that you may not agree with. Hilarious guy who cares about the material he shares in class. He often sends articles and such to back up his points. He can be cringy at times, but swell overall.

He is an ok prof. His grading criteria seems extremely arbitrary. I spoke to a few other students about their marks and it seems that he is looking for something that is impossible to communicate. If your a hard working student who wants to make really good marks I would probably avoid his class.

"Don't get triggered"-Ricardo Duchesne This professor has some strong opinions, but they all make sense. Don't take his classes if you are an SJW.

Signed up for a sociology course, but it's really more of a European history course. The entire grade was a 40% midterm and a 60% final. Really strange opinions, and can be hard to understand. Class is once a week 1.5 hours, usually asks us to leave after 1 hour.

Awesome prof. Forces you to really consider alternative perspectives. Sweet, caring, and concerned with what you take away from the class. An easy class not because he does not make you do work, but because a lot if it is based on your perspective and experiences. A++++

The best professor UNB could ever hope to have. He's genuinely a talent in the field of sociology. Classes are very essay heavy, but it's not horrible.

The reason why you go to university is to learn to think critically. Although you may not agree what Profession Duchesne lectures, he WILL make you think about all the things that you believe in. He gets "real" in class discussion and challenges the Left political thinkers. I highly recommend his classes, get prepared to think outside the box.

He gives B to everyone, hes a really easy maker and is really laid back. He is politically incorrect and is very opinionated. His opinion is far fetched but thats why i love his class, its an interesting way of looking at things. Something you wouldnt see on your own

He's difficult to understand and I'm not so sure he even knows what he's talking about. He cracks jokes from time to time, which makes the class a little more enjoyable. You can skip classes but make sure you read the text or get lecture notes. His tests were not all that bad.

By far the Best looking prof I ever had @ unbsj. You can afford to skip a class or two. Make sure you read and fully understand the text, that way you can write a good paper. If you work hard you can pull off an A or possibly an A+.

Duchesne is great. Really enjoyed his class. He's very relaxed and funny! Some of his stories will really make you laugh. He doesn't take what he does too seriously, plus he is quick to admit that he may be wrong, which is very admirable. He's very easy going. A great prof.
