Professor Cook was not very clear during lecture, but if you show him you have interest in the class, he is willing to help. Everyone in my class would leave in the middle of lecture but I stayed andI was supposed to get a C+ but he curved the grades and I ended up with an A- so I would recommended staying through the lecture.

Wanna know if u will like his class?Do you like using computer?When you use the computer for test you have 3 chances to get the right answer excatly!Its all or nothing for him.If your really good at math you only have to show up for test days and can do all the homework from home attendance is not mandatory.If u need help those people got to class.

If you struggle with math i would definitely say take him. He examples things slowly and gives you time to think. All the material thats graded is set up on the computer.His goal is for you to understand math with as much or little time needed.If you do the suggested problems from the book it makes the computer problems so easy!<3 My fav class EVER

I agree with the comment below mine. His teaching was such a drag that less than half the class showed up every time. He's a nice guy, but I think it's time for him to be done teaching. He uses MML (computer) for all HW,quizzes, and exams. You can guess your way through the class.

After reading all the other comments and ratings on this professor i thought that i would end up loving this math class instead i consider this math class to be the worst one yet. Cook rarely teaches and only uses computerized tests and homework which does not help anyone learn the material but simply guess and check.

This man is freakin hilarious. Uses great real life examples, such as gambling and drinking, to keep the class from being stale. Plus he drives a motorcycle, which makes a guy like him alright by me.
