I took this class during the summer, so it was a little fast paced. She is a very kind lady, but does tend to go off on tangents often. Show improvement on each paper and you'll receive a fair grade.

Worst prof ever! She told our class that it was an entry level and she didn't believe in giving A's. I even went to her office once for her to look over my paper and she said it looked great, and I got a B. She goes off track all the time and it wouldn't surprise me if she has ADD..Don't take her class!

Professor Hittle is willing to help. However, when you go see her for help, you get more of conversation about whatever is on her mind that day then actual help. Her grading makes little to sense. Lot's of people were lazy/absent in this class, and she can come off rude to those students. If you take her class go to the writer's center every time.

DO NOT WANT THIS PROF!! She doesn't teach. she bases her grading off the peer reviews. She compliments your paper yet gives you a failing grade. I've always been an all A student and she gave me the same grade for every assignment. 76% She rude, insulting, and can't stay on track in class. She's a worthless professor.

Gets off track (ADHD??) Cares about her students. Grades first paper hard. If you make progress, she is happy. Not much useful or timely feedback. She uses peer reviews from classmates which are worthless! Nice, but a little strange.

By far one of the most irrelevant people I have ever met. What her classes lack in instruction, she makes up for in insults, condescending remarks, and face-making. Awful. If you want to learn, go to the writer's lab.

I loved Vonda. I had her my first semester staight out of high school and she only made me a stronger writer. Yes, she's a tough grader but she only wants students to have the proper tools so they are well equipped for the upper levels of required English courses. Her office door is always open for you but YOU NEED TO TAKE THE INTIATIVE!!!

The worst English instructor I've ever had. Rambles about useless information, teaches as if she were a High School instructor, only less helpful. She knows her stuff, she just doesn't know how to stay on topic or explain herself clearly.

Timely- expects others to be too. Demanding but fair in grading-if you make progres in writing style she will reflect it in grades. Way too long to get papers back- sometimes without enough time to be beneficial to the next paper. Direct feedback was vague- if you need help see the writing center. Judgemental at times.Deviates from syllabus often.

I am an award winning Author who took the easiest class for the credit. She was impossible for me to understand. She appeared to be wandering around confused much of the time. Many credible students seemed to be doing poorly.

late to class by 5-15 minutes almost every day, syllabus was wrong, messy, and wordy. Almost no direction given in class, no class time for papers, vague and difficult paper topics. Didn't learn anything...got good grades on my crapy papers and bad grades on papers I worked hard on. If you cater to her opinions you'l score well.

Whoa. She is so absent minded, she is hard to follow. Unless you are a self leader, you WILL get lost in her class. She gives almost no direction, and very little help, takes 2 weeks to hand papers back. You MUST read the sylabus (which is a mess) to have any kind of understanding aobut what is going on. Avoid at all costs.
